Magglio was a huge part of the ballclub, a huge part of the time that I’ve been here obviously and we certainly miss him. I think 2007 was one of the most unbelievable years offensively in all of baseball; 138 RBIs, 28 home runs, .363 and a batting title. Unbelievable. Magglio’s a guy, kind of a quiet leader, very quiet in the clubhouse, really didn’t want to be in the limelight which we kind of appreciated. He was kind of a silent leader. Everybody had the upmost respect for Magglio. I think the year he knocked in all of those runs, he knocked in 48 runs with singles. That just goes to show you with guys on second and two outs, what a clutch hitter he really was. We miss you terribly, Maggs. There’s no question about it. Congratulations, thanks for all of your cooperation and respect over the years. It was a pleasure and honor being your manager.
